We take pride in our unique colors. It combines what we love about the funkiness of film photography and the precision of digital cameras, and uses both traditional and unconventional lighting and camera techniques. We like to think of our style as cinematic!
Growing up watching movies like Nacho Libre, Juno, 500 Days of Summer, and anything Studio Ghibli or Wes Anderson, because of their powerful use of colors. It adds a bit of emotional punch that can really set the vibe of the story.
As someone who is deeply influenced by cinema, we emphasize the importance of color grading just as much as shooting. It not only adds to the aesthetic of the day, but gives it a refined signature look.
At the heart of our work is a belief in duality, the balance between presence and direction, as well as simplicity and unexpected artistry. Some of the most meaningful images happen when you're fully in the moment, unaware of the camera.
